Liz Fitzgerald is a contemporary artist based on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, where the ever-changing coastline and quiet beauty of everyday life provide an enduring source of inspiration. Her work is an exploration of observation, memory and atmosphere, capturing fleeting moments rather than simply recording what is seen. Her paintings are characterised by loose, gestural brushwork, allowing the essence of a place or moment to emerge through expressive marks and restrained detail. For Liz, painting is a process of discovery, where something unexpected can emerge through the act of painting itself. At its heart, Liz’s work is about capturing a feeling: the atmosphere of a place, the memory of a moment and the quiet magic found in simply being present. Liz Fitzgerald authorises Artist Lane to produce open edition art prints. Carefully curated, each artwork is a reproduced giclée print or canvas suitable for your home decor and wall art needs.
